Dallas Design Jam: January 2020

The City of Dallas enlisted our help to design posters that encouraged minority communities to participate in the United States 2020 Census. Each of us chose a different community to reach out to with our poster designs. Due to my past work with immigration reform, I chose the Hispanic community.

In English, it read, “We live here. We count.”

More than 1 million mostly Hispanic immigrants and their supporters skipped work and took to the streets Monday, flexing their economic muscle in a nationwide boycott that succeeded in slowing or shutting many farms, factories, markets and restaurants.
